I passed my initial assessment period, and the Captain's assessment at the end of it was that he felt I'd definitely be able to pass phase 2, Basic Officer Training Program. 6 more weeks and I'm done.
Oh, I got my Naval Officer's tunic on Thursday, complete with my officer's stripe (one spaghetti) on the cuff. When I'm done, I'll trade the spaghetti in for a lasagna noodle.
I'll send some photos of my self in the various uniforms /fighting orders as soon as I fill up the camera and go to walmart to print 'em.
